Haram Gate: Opening Ceremony

Deputy Commissioner of Multan, Nadir Chatha, along with Deputy Ambassador of Italy, Roberto Puddu, and the Deputy Major of Multan, Munawar Qureshi, inaugurating today the recently rehabilitated historic Haram Gate. The monument is one of the six main doors of the old city. The opening ceremony was presided by Eugenio Gatti, General Manager of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Adalberto Del Bo, Professor at Politecnico di Milano, and Francesco Bruno, the manager of the project.
The Haram Gate and its place were restored by Politecnico di Milano in cooperation with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. The project of renovation is funded through the Debt Swap Agreement between the Government of the Italian Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
