Monica Lancini graduated summa con laude in “Foreign Languages and Literatures” (1996), was Research Fellow at Brown University, Providence, RI, USA (January – December 1999) and got her Phd in “Comparative Literatures” in 2003 from Università IULM di Milano. In September 2003 she was hired by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano as general director assistant, with a specific focus on communication and external relations. In January 2008 she was then appointed Head of the Communication and External Relations Office. Monica Lancini has also worked for several publishing houses and served as intern at the American Consulate of Milan.
